Parrish was excited to be the CM for Morningside Elementary school as it was the 8th project we constructed for Atlanta Public Schools. Our team broke this project into 2 phases. Phase one consisted of the interior renovation of the existing building, originally constructed in the 1930s. In addition to replacing the ceilings, paint, and some flooring, our team also restored the original hardwood floors. Phase 2 consisted of the demolition of the existing gymnasium and the construction of a new one that is now connected to the school by a bridge. The old gym was located across the school parking lot.
